On August 3, 2015, the Full-Time MBA Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler kicked off Orientation week for its Class of 2017. The Program’s Leadership Initiative is adding an offering for the students this year: access to an Executive Coach.

As part of the activities of August 4, the study groups took part in a team building session called Building Connections.

During the session, each study group built connections among its team members, laying the foundation for a Team Charter they will create in the next few weeks.

Each group also connected with a young student from the Global Scholar Academy (GSA), a local school with the mission of improving educational outcomes and the life chances of youth who are at risk of academic failure due to social, economic, and educational challenges, by building and a bicycle for their student.

It was a great time for study groups, coaches, and for the children of GSA. Enjoy some more photos below from the Building Connections event!
